Co-Founders
Our Story
Jenny Lemieux and Jonathan Binas met through Entrepreneur First, and founded Vivid Machines in late 2020 based on a common vision to help contribute to solving food security, one of the largest problems facing our world today. Vivid Machines began with hundreds of conversations with farmers and growers on how technology could help massively improve farm profitability. Thanks to input from early customers like Blue Mountain Fruit, Botden Orchards, and Chudleigh’s, Vivid Machines honed in on the problem of crop load management and yield forecasting, with holistic plant health insights as their guiding start.
Today, Vivid Machines has now added viral disease detection in grapes, plant canopy health, and other insights to their ever growing list of applications for fruit producers.
